I won the argument over this issue with an old friend by claiming victim status. It was unfair I told her to make me (and those with contradictory religious beliefs)to pay for another person's choice. It was not fair for some young person to be able to do what they wanted without any repercussions while I and others like my friend, who work hard and just barely get by, have to pay for their lack of reonlpsibisity. Then I went on a rant about the lack of responsibility in our society today and ended with "It's not fair." That shut her up.
